Rural Past Times is a family-friendly show and this year will be the 12th show that we have held. It is a working weekend with areas for Heavy Horses, Working Tractors, stationary engines, display ring, tractor and trailer rides and live music, just to mention a few. Past years have provided hundreds of people with a very enjoyable weekend.

East Dean Village Market is a vibrant weekly market held every Wednesday from 10-2 pm. but we attend every 3rd Wednesday of the month.
We offer over 40 stalls inside the hall and in the car park with a range of foods, beverages, crafts, woodwork, Weleda, horticulture, soaps, candles, sweets, authentic Indian food, hand-crafted jewellery, cushions, clothing, The Downland bun, preserves, framing, sewn goods, recycled and repurposed goods, artisan and antiques, collectables, unique artists and so so much more. Uniquely hand-crafted, sourced, produced, grown and created locally by local people, especially for you.
We have a cafe open from 9:30 serving hot and cold food and drink.
Free parking in the Horse field, please use the roadside footpath to access the market, and disabled parking at the front of the village hall. You can find us just off the A259 between Seaford and Eastbourne postcode BN20 0DJ.

Hellingly Transport Festival, supporting local charities, is a great family day out at Broad Farm Hellingly. Free car parking. Stalls, steam engines, working exhibits, commercial and military, stationary exhibits, motorcycles, cars, buses and tractors, autojumble. Always a fantastic weekend!

Join Us for the Ultimate Summer Garden Party in September
Celebrate the end of summer with us at Harley House Distillery this September for our late 'Summer Garden Party'. This year, we’re again fundraising for the Newhaven Lifeboat charity, supporting their essential work in our community.
Enjoy live music, delicious cocktails, and of course, our award-winning gin and rum. Nibble on tasty treats as you soak in the festive atmosphere. Last year's event was a blast, and we're excited to make this year's party even better!

Last year many local businesses helped us with sponsorship for our event, and this year we hope will be no exception, with a raffle and more live music from local musicians. So if you have a local business in the Seaford area, and would like to help us by donating a raffle prize or helping with sponsorship, maybe by donating some food or cakes, we would be most appreciative! We would, of course, mention you in all of our social media leading up to and after our party. Please contact us if can help.
We will of course be serving drinks from our bar. We will be serving from our whole range of Gins, Rums, Liqueurs, and Vodka. There will also be soft drinks available, and some summery cocktails. There will also be a small buffet and nibbles available.
Unfortunately, we do not have any parking space at the distillery, but many of you will know that we are central to Seaford and only a few minutes walk from the town centre. There is also a bus stop almost right outside our distillery.
